ROAD safety is often compromised by drivers in unfamiliar areas trying to see where they are going, instead of concentrating on the road. Better street signing would help to reduce this problem. Councillor Peter Davies put this motion at the October council meeting: That Fareham Borough Council, in the interest of road safety, ensures that street name signs are clearly visible for road users approaching from any direction.
