 Paul Nother

Having been your Portchester East Councillor for the past two years has been a huge privilege. To be involved in all things local is what being a councillor means to me.

if I can help, support and make a difference to any individual, family or a group of people, I know I am doing what I was elected to do.

When I moved to Portchester in 1998, the Castle and the shoreline took my breath away, and it still does. It is and always will be a very special place to live.

We are a ‘Portchester Family’, our parents and siblings have lived here for many years, our son went to school in Portchester and his family now live here with our grandson.

I bring a real commitment to positive change.  We will fight to improve our roads, our coastline walks and our services to the community.

Paul Whittle

Paul has lived in Fareham for 25 years, and now lives in Portchester with his family. He has previously been a councillor for Fareham in the town centre and is returning to community work after reducing his professional activities.

Paul has had a distinguished career in education management and is now a governor of one of the local schools.

He has been involved with supporting and leading a wide range of local organisations and very much looks forward to giving more of his time again to community activities.

Paul trained in natural sciences and cares about our environment, ecology, conservation and the impact of climate changes. He is keen to see a new approach to local services for residents and quality of life for everyone.
