Make Delme Roundabout Safer

Children shouldn't have to take a risk just to walk to school! Lib Dem Councillors call for action - back our campaign!

Every school day, children walking from Fareham Town and Wallington to Cams Hill School have to cross the busy A27 slip roads at Delme Roundabout without a controlled pedestrian crossing.

This is a long-running local concern. Hampshire County Council has previously recognised the need to improve pedestrian safety here, but despite other recent works around Delme, a safe controlled crossing has still not been delivered.

Traffic is busy and children, families and other pedestrians use this route every day. We think it is time to finally make this crossing safer.
