Let’s Make Wallington Way Quieter and Safer

Wallington Way is a short dual carriageway where the road layout can encourage drivers to go faster than is safe.

Residents in Wallington Village and Fareham Town have raised growing concerns about noise from loud motorbikes and modified cars, especially during early mornings and late at night.

This noise and disruption affect people’s ability to relax, rest, and enjoy their homes.

Cllr Alison West and Cllr David Hamilton are calling for speed cameras to be installed on Wallington Way to help reduce excess speed and cut down on noise. This would be a practical step toward making the area quieter and improving quality of life for nearby residents.
