Fareham Town

David Hamilton and Kirsten Wiltshire

David is the leader of the Lib Dem Group on Fareham Council, representing Wallington and Downend. Kirsten is also our Fareham Borough Council candidate for Fareham Town, which she has represented since 2024.

David says:

I’ve lived in Fareham for over 10 years and raised my two children here with my wife. I’ve served as a Borough Councillor for four years and believe strongly in standing up for our community.

The everyday issues matter — potholes, dim streetlighting, antisocial driving and parking, fly-tipping and overgrown vegetation — because they affect peoples’ lives.

But the bigger challenges matter too: tackling the social care crisis and protecting our NHS. Things need to be better. Real change comes when local people who understand their communities step forward, listen, and take action to get things done.

Thank you for backing local action. I’d be grateful for your vote.

Kirsten says:

I’m standing for Borough and County Council because I care deeply about our community.

As a Borough Councillor since 2024, I’ve listened to residents, helped with housing and safeguarding issues, and supported those navigating complex local systems.

Representatives should be visible, approachable, and rooted in the community. My priorities include protecting adult social care and mental health services, standing up for vulnerable residents, supporting sensible brownfield development, and taking practical environmental action.

With major local government reorganisation ahead, I will ensure residents’ voices are central to decisions. I’m not a career politician, just someone committed to working hard for our area.
